Alpenglow aims to reduce the block finalization time from 12.8s to nearly 150ms. The proposal will enter the voting stage during Epochs 840~420 (currently at 834, one Epoch is about 2 days). The voting rule is that the proportion of affirmative votes must reach 2/3 of the total votes (affirmative + negative) to pass.
